# Getting started

> The first journey in Geenius App, step by step: sign in, say what you do, choose a design, watch the build, preview and edit, and publish after your yes.

This is the journey Geenius App is built around. It is built and tested in our code; the live service is not open to the public yet, so you cannot follow it today. [Join the waitlist](../../request-access/) to be let in.

## 1. Sign in

With an email link. There is no password.

## 2. Say what you do

Pick one of the big cards, write a sentence or speak. Spoken words appear as text and you can edit them before they are sent. Choose Auto, where the AI takes the lead, or Wizard, where you decide each step. It asks at most about ten questions.

## 3. Choose a design

Auto, a palette, or three to ten mock-ups to choose from, with more like this. Your choice is stored in your site's spec.

## 4. Watch it build

A calm timeline shows the build. The AI wrote a spec, a checked description of your site, and the generators build the site from it.

## 5. Preview and edit

Talk to the preview or tap a section. Every change is shown to you before it applies.

## 6. Publish with your yes

Publishing waits on an approval card. Your site goes to a free address, your-name.geenius.site, and you get an email when it is live. Every publish is a version, and "undo that" brings back the one it replaced.

## Later: a domain of your own

You can search for a name and see the exact total on an approval card. Today this runs in a sandbox: no real domain is bought.
